The St. Lucie River, so vital to Florida's ecology, has become plagued with toxic algae blooms and pollutants. This documentary explores the history of the river and how it has changed in recent years. Filmmaker John Nelson will screen his film and discuss the making of the film and what hope there is for the future. John is a Florida Master Naturalist and the host of The Audubon Moment podcast. Light refreshments will be served. Funding for this program was provided through a grant from the Palm Beach International Boat Show Gives Back.
